Job Description


The VP of Sales responsibility will be to ensure that the entire department delivers exceptional service to all prospects through the sales cycle and ensure the Regional Sales Directors manage and work select nationwide and territory accounts. The VP of Sales must have the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external clients to ensure success. The Director will work closely with the CEO, to implement initiatives and drive change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Manage, develop, and implement sales efforts and processes
  • Work with the marketing department to ensure all promotional items for shows and sales efforts align with company products and services.
  • Identifying areas of improvements and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
  • Outlining and managing sales budgets.
  • Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations.
  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
  • Meet with the Director of Client services and Director of Physician services to understand client trends to help direct/change Sales process
  • Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
  • Effectively assist in the selling of company’s services and develop new business by identifying leads, qualifying prospects, and building relationships
  • Effectively create, plan, and deliver presentations on company’s services
  • Drive additional business with strategic prospects accounts.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain all KPIs on the various metrics we have in place to ensure optimized performance and balanced workloads
  • Contribute ideas and strategies for the growth and success of PracticeMatch
  • Create a vibrant, competitive, and supportive culture within the team where all team members focus on achieving success in their territory.
  • Assist in training and developing new staff to effectively advise prospects, present services, overcome objections, and provide consultation and recommendations to clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 plus year of Sales Leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in a new-business focused sales role
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Director or higher role with Leadership experience role preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques preferred
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • 4+ years of experience in SaaS/Recruitment/Human Resource Industry
  • Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales quota’s
  • Ability to sell complex technology solutions with a consultative methodology
  • Industry expertise/relationships in Talent Acquisition/Human Resources/Employment Branding or Recruitment Marketing is strongly preferred
  • Ability to understand client thinking and offer unique perspectives as solution
  • Tenacity and drive to encourage decisions
  • Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by ability to advise in a senior level capacity
  • Ability to comprehend customers value and economic drivers through strong reasoning ability
  • 4+ plus years consultative sales experience
  • Effective communicator, internal and external, with strong presentation skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with internal PM resources to move deals through the pipeline.
